Experimental Ontological-Hysteric Theater
Richard Foreman
Founder and Artistic Director
Ontological-Hysteric Theater, New York
Presented by the Penn
Humanities Forum, Penn Theatre Arts Program, and Penn
Cinema Studies Program
Free. Public invited.
Richard Foreman has been one of America's
preeminent experimental directors for over thirty-five
years. In his Ontological-Hysteric
Theater, he has used words and images to comment
upon one another. And now for the first time, Foreman
incorporates projected images into theatrical space
in Zomboid, which premiered January 2006 in
New York.
The Penn Humanities Forum, Penn Theatre
Arts Program, and Penn Cinema Studies Program are pleased
to bring Mr. Foreman to the Penn campus to discuss his
latest work.
