Swoon
Street Artist

Wednesday, 21 March, 2007
5:00 – 6:30 pm

Institute of Contemporary Art
118 South 36th Street, Penn campus

Event free and open to the public.

From Berlin to Brooklyn and down the Mississippi, the street artist Swoon has made her mark on the contemporary art world. She has covered city walls with life-sized cutout paste-ups and block prints, and created large-scale installations at PS1 and Deitch Projects depicting the people of New York, her city.

Swoon will talk about her recent work, notably her months of travel down the Mississippi on a raft made of recycled garbage.
