Penn Faculty Mellon Research Fellowships

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS, 2012–2013 (Closed)
Topic: Peripheries

Applications are solicited from Penn standing faculty in the humanities and allied departments for the Penn Humanities Forum's 2012–2013 Mellon Faculty Research Fellowships.

Available are junior faculty awards of $5000 disbursed as salary, as well as senior faculty awards of $10,000 paid to departments to offset the cost of a course release.

Fellows must be engaged in research directly related to Peripheries, the Forum's topic for 2012–2013. Fellows are also expected to participate in the Forum's weekly Mellon Research Seminar held on Tuesdays, 12:00–2:00 p.m. during the academic year, presenting a paper during the course of the year.

Other seminar members include Mellon Postdoctoral Fellows, Regional Faculty and Cultural Fellows, the directors of the Forum, and others.
