Topic: Peripheries
The Penn Humanities Forum announces the availability
of eight Andrew W. Mellon Regional Research Fellowships in the amount of $5000 for the
2012–2013
academic year. The awards are available to standing faculty in the humanities
from colleges and universities in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. PhD-level
curators, department directors, and other professionals of local arts
and cultural organizations are also eligible to apply.
Interested candidates must be engaged in research directly
related to Peripheries, the
Forum's topic for 2012–2013.
Fellows are
expected to attend in the Forum's weekly Mellon Research Seminar
held on Tuesdays, 12:00–2:00
p.m. during the academic year (September–April), presenting a paper
at one of the sessions. (Please allow travel time
when scheduling your classes or other duties.)
Other seminar members include Postdoctoral
Fellows, Penn Faculty Fellows, the directors
of the Forum, and others.
